How My Heritage Values Fuel My Success: The importance of family and a good education were values that my parents in all eight of their children. Growing up on the family ranch in the San Luis Valley in Colorado, we did not have electricity until the early 1980s. My father always told us that an education was the most important thing we could obtain.
