Kaye Scholer Hires Satra Sampson-Arokium as Director of Diversity & Inclusion
Satra Sampson-Arokium has joined Kaye Scholer as director of diversity and inclusion. She was previously with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as a senior consultant on global diversity.
Sampson-Arokium will work closely with firm leadership and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee to implement organizational change strategies designed to make Kaye Scholer’s culture and processes more inclusive, such as communication, recruiting and professional and client development. She will also lead efforts to create more opportunities for individuals from underrepresented groups to maximize their successes at the firm.
“The world is changing, and more than ever, diversity and inclusion is a critical business imperative—something that Kaye Scholer has recognized,” said Sampson-Arokium in a statement. “At the same time, our clients are also recognizing the importance of hiring diverse firms to solve some of their most complex issues.”
She holds a Masters of public administration from Marist College and earned a BA in political science from the State University of New York at Albany.
