to achieve company business objectives and maximize the potential
of individuals and the organization.
Mission
The Mission of the
Global Diversity Office is to integrate diversity and inclusion in
all aspects of the business in order to:
Fully engage the energies of Kodak's employees and a diverse
supplier base
Dan Carp's Message:
Kodak's journey of building a winning and inclusive culture began
nearly a century ago. Among many actions, Kodak founder George Eastman
made major contributions to historically black universities, including
Tuskegee and Hampton Institutes, in the early part of the 20th century.
Today, we at Kodak continue the journey - because the best ideas come
from teams of people with varied backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
This helps us understand and serve our customers' needs better than
anyone else.
In our competitive
global marketplace, it's essential that we understand the cultures,
customs, and communities wherever Kodak does business. The company
operates in more than 30 countries, and more than half of Kodak's
business comes from outside the U.S.
Diverse markets offer promising opportunities for growth as we reach
out to new customers. We know that preferences and buying habits differ
from place to place. We rely on Kodak employees for the insights that
will help us grow and succeed in these global markets.
For our 70,000 employees worldwide, Kodak is committed to creating
a work environment that enables each individual to contribute his
or her maximum potential. We've worked to build an inclusive culture
that enables all our employees to contribute - and to learn more about
themselves, each other, and our customers.
We know that our journey of diversity and inclusion is an ongoing
one. Guided by the efforts of Kodak people around the world, we look
forward to discovering new ways to serve and delight our customers
with the world's finest imaging products and services.
