In every May/June issue we will recognize companies that go beyond the law in order to welcome, encourage and accommodate persons with disabilities. These largely invisible but hard-working individuals make valuable contributions to companies and communities across America. We are inspired by their commitment to overcome obstacles, and we applaud the organizations that help them along the way. The first of this two-part feature includes a survey questionnaire and the second introduces some of these individuals in their own first-person essay.
